Sharing this review for my 60 year old mother. Dr. Jon Clark is not only a knowledgeable and talented surgeon but he is also kind and reassuring. He performed an amazing surgery on my crushed wrist. I fell and broke my wrist on April 9th, while Bristol was deep into covid, and surgery was hard to schedule. Dr. Clark stabilized my wrist and performed surgery on April 15th. As he thoroughly and patiently explained the procedure, I had fears that my wrist would never be the same. Dr. Clark's professional reassurance was very appreciated. He placed a plate and 9 screws into my wrist and on May 27th I was back on the pickleball court playing with no limitations. A 6 week recovery time. The pain medicine was only needed for a few days and I was hardly ever uncomfortable. Two months later I was doing handstands, swimming with my gradchildren and tubing on the lake. Almost a year later and I never think about my wrist except when I think about the amazing job he did. This review is long over due. All I can say is I would highly recommend Dr. Clark. The Tri-Cities is fortunate to have him in the Appalachian Orthopedic Group. --Kim Baker--
